About

Gerrika Alexander

Gerrika Kamree Alexander was a young, beautiful, sassy woman who was deeply loved by her friends and family. Her mother, Jamie Keesee & her sister, Jamerra “J” Alexander wanted to honor her contagious laugh and her smile that could light up an entire room.

She enjoyed going to the beach, attending concerts, shopping, exploring nature and spending time with her family, friends and fur babies. She grew up in Virginia, lived in Japan and was studying to become a real estate licensed agent in San Diego, California. She will be forever loved by her family and friends and those whose life she touched.

A Remarkable Journey Begins

On April 28, 2021, the Eterneva team was honored to inaugurate Gerrika.

"Gerrika was an amazing young lady, her mom's 1st born and mini me. She was an older sister and a great friend. Gerrika loved sunflowers and had a smile that could light up a room, per her mom Jamie. On August 7, 1996 greeted with light and love by her family and friends, a vibrant spirit was brought into the world. Gerrika Kamree Alexander grew up in Virginia Beach and was able to spread her wings while living in Japan. Growing up, anyone that met her instantly fell in love with her smile and personality. Gerrika lived her life as as a free spirit going to the beach, attending concerts, shopping, exploring nature, and spending time with family, friends and her fur babies. She was studying for her Real Estate license while living in San Diego, California. Gerrika loved life and wanted everyone she came in contact with to enjoy it with her. Gerrika was known to bring people together and formed friendships effortlessly. Gerrika will be forever loved and her spirit will shine on all who loved her for eternity. We are growing a beautiful yellow diamond for her mom, Jamie, so that she can keep a little piece of her always.  This diamond will be an heirloom that will be treasured for generations and will eventually be passed down to her little sister. It is my sincerest honor to welcome Gerrika into the Eterneva family"

The First Step of Gerrika's Diamond Journey

Gerrika's ashes are back at the Eterneva labs, and we are ready to begin the journey to becoming a diamond. Now, her ashes will be put into a crucible that will go through a purification process. When this initial step is complete, her ashes will have been transformed into purified carbon. This is the material we will put in her diamond growth cell to grow her diamond! In your next update, you’ll get to see her shiny purified carbon as we open her crucible for the first time. Stay tuned!

The First Transformation

Gerrika's ashes have successfully been purified and are now pure carbon in the form of graphite! To prepare her carbon for the growth stage, we will mill it into a super fine powder. This is the starter material for her diamond! The closure of this phase is a big and exciting milestone! Soon, we will be ready to grow Gerrika's diamond.

Gerrika’s rough diamond is stunning! Now, her diamond will be hand cut by Eterneva’s master diamond cutters. Master diamond cutters spend decades perfecting their craft, and hand cut every single facet of the diamond. Diamonds have upward of 58 facets!
